Hello and Welcome to Tiny House Accessibility!

Welcome to our site! Leesa and I are in the process of creating this site to document our tiny house build. We also want to highlight the accessibility solutions we implement to make the house “accessible friendly” for Rob, who uses a walker.

We have been updating our progress on Rob’s facebook page but decided a blog would be better.

Links to tremendous resources are at the bottom of this page. Thimble Homes who we bought our tiny house shell from and have been a tremendous help. Whenever we need build advice or suggestions they gladly respond. The second link is to NOAH (National Organization of Alternative Housing) who provide inspections to ensure we are building our tiny home to meet nationally recognized safety, construction & energy efficiency standards currently used by the Home Building & RV industries.

Check back for updates and feel free to leave comments.
